hershey schueler grocery inspector

my name is hershey schueler and i am a certified grocery inspector! i loooooove grocery day! i always make sure the groceries are in good condition and safe to eat. and i am a good helper because i don't eat anything i just used my highly honed smelling skills to check everything out. i love to smell the meat, cheese, milk, eggs, ice cream, cans, juice, everything! so many wonderful smells! i will admit that sometimes i lick the meat packages, (yummy) but mom doesn't mind cause she says she is going to cook it so no harm. do you guys and gals get to inspect your groceries!?

Yeap, I get to inspect the groceries. But, I do not have as many grocery bags to inspect!! I think I want to inspect YOUR groceries! They look more fun.

Hey, guess what I did? I nominated Copper for next month's Awesome Blog Award!

Do you think Copper's family will tell everyone they know about the nomination? Oh, I think he should proudly tell the whole wide world! Why keep it a secret?

Hey, are you having a party? You got too many groceries there. Can I come to the grocery sniffing party?

hana, my mom likes to do what she calls "big groceries" she buys a big cart full so she only has to go every other week or so. she got the habit from her mom (copper's mom) and she also bought those paper plates and cups in the picture so she doesn't have to do dishes while she is big pregnant and when the baby comes (28 days left by the way!!!!)

i luuuuuv grocery inspeckshun time too. the best is wen i get to go for a ride in the car to go get the groceries and i get to inspeckt them wen they come in my car. i hardly ever get to go after it gets warm outside.

ooooo!! just 28 days till the baby! i bet you are so excited cuz you are going to get to lick baby food from the baby face and you will be so important guarding the baby. *sigh* every dog needs a baby!

Hershey!! My parents use paper plates sometimes, but they are not expecting a baby yet. Oh, and my mom says your mom doesn't have to do the dishes, YEAH, while she is pregnant because YOUR DAD CAN DO THE DISHES!!

OH, OH, did you read Ender's post. He is also expecting a baby in the family. Maybe you will be able to give Ender some pointers.

I inspect everything that comes through the door ... and everything that Mom ever holds in her hand .. and everything that Chani has ... and everything that Dad has .. and everything that visitors have (after I quit barking at them, of course) and everything in the yard and everything in the ... ummm ... just everything, I guess. I'm just slightly inquisitive.

Hey Hershey,
I love checking out the groceries too. But we don't have *that* many bags..are you having a party soon? maybe another baby shower or something?
Wow..28 days is very very soon. :)

You are so lucky, Hershey. We have never, ever gotten to inspect the grocery bags. Mom keeps us in jail while she brings them in and then she puts them on the counter where we can't reach them. We can tell there are wonderful smells but we don't get to get close enough. You have made us wonder about them now. Maybe Mom will forget and put them on the floor so we can inspect them ...

I don't get to inspect like you do. I have to do a quick sniff as they walk in the door with them. Our kitchen isn't big enough to put stuff on the floor. It's very good they have you to inspect the groceries. That way the baby won't eat anything bad! They're so lucky to have you!

oooh I looove to do this! mom calls it going shopping, I always find things that smell great but I have never eaten anything. Tanner popped a gallon of water once, so he can't help with groceries

I do the same thing...but I never get anything out of those bags. You would think that I would get a yummy reward for doing such a good job, my wiffer (that's what my mom calls my nose, ya know, like wiff (sp)works the hardest, and knows right where to go! i am going to tell my mom to get paper plates and glasses so she doesn't have to do the dishes, that's a great idea!

Hey Hershey,

The boyz in our household inspect the groceries, but Tansy and I think it's a bit beneath us. Why should we do the people's work when we don't even get anything?

The boyz, though, they say that by inspecting, they have a good sense of just what there is *to* get.

See ya

Oh yea, grocery day rocks. Actually, anytime they come in the house with any kind of bag at all we inspect it. We're pretty sure it should always be for us!!

Thats funny, Pearly does that as well, once she took 3 bite into a bag of fresh lean pork chop, and her grandma realize it after walking back into the kitchen to put away the grocery...soo funny.
